I am a licensed massage therapist and the proud owner of Josie Mae Massage and Healing House, located in Gastonia, North Carolina. My journey into massage therapy began long before my professional training. As a young girl, my great-grandmother lovingly taught me the art of massage, planting a seed that would later grow into my life’s purpose. Although I didn’t fully embrace the gift at the time, her transition in 2022 reignited that calling and inspired me to honor her legacy through healing work.
I graduated from Southeastern University and have been practicing massage therapy since 2023. For the past two years, I have successfully operated my own business, creating a safe and welcoming space where clients can relax, heal, and reconnect with their bodies. As a single mother of three, I understand the importance of balance, care, and community—values that are reflected in every service I provide.
My passion extends beyond the massage table. I am deeply committed to giving back, especially to senior citizens in my community. I regularly attend local events, offering complimentary 5–10 minute chair massages as a form of outreach and charity, allowing people to experience the benefits of massage while building meaningful connections. I also take pride in educating others about the power of therapeutic touch and how massage can support overall wellness.
At my core, I am a healer. I love helping people feel better, move better, and live better. Massage therapy is not just my profession—it is my purpose.
